Four pick forms to vie for Songea Parliamentary seat

Songea. Four members of the ruling party, CCM, have collected forms to vie for the Songea Urban parliamentary seat, which has been declared vacant following the death of Leonidas Gama, who was the MP for the constituency.

Speaking to the MCL digital on December 7, this year, the CCM Party Secretary for Songea District in Ruvuma Region, Mr Juma Mpeli, said the party members picked the forms yesterday and that until late today more members were expected to declare their interests.

According to Mr Mpeli, those wo have picked the forms are Mr John Nchimbi, a younger brother to Ambassador Emmanuel Nchimbi, Mr Gideon Olelailumbe, head of the Vocational Education and Training Authority (Veta), Mr Mussa Ndomba and  Eng Kayoya Fuko.

Mr Mpeli urged more members of the party to come forward.
