MP donates 500 iron sheets, cement to health facilities

Musoma. Member of Parliament for Musoma Rural Sospeter Muhongo has donated 500 iron sheets and 700 bags cement for the renovation of four dispensaries in the constituency.
Speaking at Masinono Village yesterday, Prof Muhongo, who is also the minister for Energy and Minerlas, said, the donation will be used to repair maternity wards, toilets and laboratories of Masinono, Mugango, Nyakatende and Kurugee dispensaries in the district.
He called on wananchi to participate in development activities. According to him, it is a shame for health facilities to lack toilets.
“How can a dispensary lack toilet?” he lamented saying it is very disappointing.
He asked wananchi to make sure they effectively participate in improving infrastructure in their respective villages instead of waiting for the government to do so.
