NGO seeks Sh250m for special children’s hostel

Morogoro: An NGO is appealing to the public to raise Sh250 million for the construction of a hostel for orphans and children with disabilities.

Opening the first Erick Memorial Foundation for Education and Rehabilitation for the Disabled board meeting  this week, the founder of the organisation, Ms Josephine Bakhita said the organisation lacks financial as well as human resources to take care of the children under its care.

“We need a hostel to accommodate children and mothers when they come for training on physiotherapy and nutrition,” she told The Citizen.
