Four women, an infant die in Geita’s King Msukuma bus accident

Geita. Five people have died and 36 others injured in an accident involving, a Toyota Harrier vehicle and King Msukuma Bus Service plying between Mwanza and Bukoba in Kagera Region.

Speaking to The Citizen, Geita Regional Police Commander (RPC), Mr Mponjoli Mwabulambo confirmed the incident. Furthermore, Geita’s Acting Regional Medical Officer Dr Mazoea Fimbo said the hospital received five dead bodies. Among who died, four were women and one was a child. The age of the child is estimated to be six months. 

“Three injured casualties have been taken to Bugando Referral Hospital in Mwanza Region,” he said.
