Dodoma. Members of Parliament belonging to Chama Cha Mapinduzi have welcomed the new party Secretary General Dr Bashiru Ally in a dinner event that was held on Tuesday evening. Chairman of CCM MPs caucus Mr Majaliwa said the event was one of its kind, as the MPs also showed their appreciation to the retired party SG Mr Abdurahman Kinana. The dinner was prepared by CCM MPs.
Mr Majaliwa went on to say, “We thank Mr Kinana for we has been hardworking, and successful in his career. Even now that he retires, he remains a faithful member of the party.” He also acknowledged that this was special, since none like it has ever happened in the history of the party.
“This is a good thing. When you work for a long period of time, and your time comes to retire, it is a blessing. There are some who work, but die before they can retire. But Kinana has worked hard, and now he rests. Our part is to thank him, to acknowledge his role and to wish him well. We also promise him that we will continue working with him as a member,” said Mr Majaliwa. At the end of the night, the MPs gave Mr Kinana a VOX car as a gift.
