Africa leaders’ event to honour Z’bar businessman for community security

A colorful event to acknowledge people from across the world who have positively changed African lives is taking place in Johannesburg South Africa on Tuesday November 21.

From Zanzibar, is Mr Saleh Said, the Director of   Pennyroyal Gibraltar, an investor in tourism resorts in the Isles, who is expected to receive the Honorary Award African Leader in Community Safety and Security.

Ms Aminata Keita, the Pennyroyal Gibraltar marketing expert told The Citizen that Mr Said will be awarded for bringing security to two villages in Zanzibar, namely Kiboje police station and Jambian Station to serve over 5000 residents.

In Johannesburg, all roads will be leading to Sandton Convention Centre for the event, the first African Leaders 4 Change Awards, where celebrities, from across the world are expected to colour the event.

The event will be hosted by American Actress, Emmy Award winner Lynn Whitfield as well as Thione Niang, who is the CEO of Akon Lighting, details on the event’s website show.

Former President of Tanzania, Jakaya Kikwete is expected to attend the event. During which, celebrities such as global music icon, Akon will also receive an award for his contribution to changing African lives.
