TBL launches key staff programme

Dar es Salaam. Tanzania Breweries Limited Group (TBL) has introduced a special programme, which aims at promoting a culture of volunteering among the beer brewer’s employees.

Dubbed, ‘Be The Coach’, the programme will see the TBL employees with various skills volunteering to transfer them to Tanzanian youth through training that will enable them to understand their potential and identify opportunities around them.

The programme is coordinated by Lisa Cheche.

Ms Lisa is one of the university graduates who are on TBL’s on-going Global Management Trainee programme, which is run by TBL’s parent company, ABInBev.

According to Ms Lisa, ‘Be the Coach’ is one of TBL’s initiatives aimed at instilling a volunteering spirit among its employees, move that will help them directly participate in addressing various challenges facing their communities through training the young generation to be productive.
