Airtel’s vocational training app attracts over 28,000 scholars

Dar es Salaam. The number of Tanzanian youths – registered for vocational training through a special mobile phone application – has increased by 180 per cent during the past three months, the project initiator said yesterday.

As of July, Airtel announced that at least 10,000 Tanzanian youth were registered on the VSomo but yesterday, the Veta Principal, Lucius Luteganya (speaking in the photo), said at least 28,000 people were currently making use of the mobile phone application.
