Dar es Salaam. BancABC has launched a new product that allows a customer to open and run their business, salary accounts and daily operational current accounts without any monthly maintenance fee deductions for a period of one whole year.

Known as Jiongeze Current Account, the product seeks to make maintenance of an operational current account most affordable to clients.

Jiongeze Current Account will give its holder access to check their balances anywhere and to deposit and withdraw money through over 50 agency banking Wakalas (agents) across Dar es Salaam.

“With Jiongeze Current Account, BancABC customers can access their account conveniently through our Silver Visa card that can be accessed through any Visa ATM, Internet banking, Mobile banking and BancABC APP.

This is in addition to over 50 agency banking wakalas in Dar es Salaam,” the bank’s head of retail and business banking Ms Joyce Malai said.

Having been named the Best Emerging Bank in the country this year, BancABC continues to demonstrate its commitment through launching innovative and affordable product propositions, fulfilling a key role in empowering local communities, especially in those previously unbanked communities and districts, Malai added.

BancABC is part of Atlas Mara which has its headquarters in Tortola, British Virgin Islands and subsidiaries and investments in Botswana, Germany, Mozambique, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa, South Sudan, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
