Bank opens new branch

Stanbic Bank Tanzania has opened a new branch in Dar es Salaam to bring services closer to customers.

Dar es Salaam. Stanbic Bank Tanzania has opened a new branch in Dar es Salaam to bring services closer to customers. The Peninsula outlet at Masaki takes Stanbic Bank’s total branch count to 8 across the country, the company said in a statement yesterday.

The new branch will offer, among other and services, a dedicated private banking suite, foreign exchange facilities and real time cash deposit ATMs. Speaking during the launching event, the deputy Minister for Finance and Planning Dr Ashatu Kijaji, commended the bank’s commitment and support to infrastructure projects and SME development.

“I would like to acknowledge efforts the bank is putting in place to implement the Financial Inclusion Framework and the National Economic Empowerment Policy in practice,” she said.
