- Speaking during a press conference held yesterday, UVCCM acting secretary general Shaka Hamdu Shaka said they have already submitted a letter to the police to notify them of their intention.
The ruling party youth wing (UVCCM) will hold peaceful rallies on August 31 across the country to congratulate President John Magufuli’s performance which has restored public confidence to the government.
Speaking during a press conference held yesterday, UVCCM acting secretary general Shaka Hamdu Shaka said they have already submitted a letter to the police to notify them of their intention.
“In case the police will not allow us to hold peaceful march in all district across the country we will use other alternatives to have the rallies allowed; our aim is to make sure that our message reach wananchi,” said Mr Shaka.
