Dar es Salaam. A team of top officials from Communist party of China (CPC) arrive in the country today for a four days working visit.
The CPC leaders will be hosted by the ruling Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM), according to the party Ideology and Publicity Secretary, Mr Humphrey Polepole.
The contingency of 19 party leaders will be led by Mr Guo Jinlong, who is the mayor of Beijing and a member to CPC Politi-Bureau. He is also CPC Central Committee member and secretary to the CPC committee in Beijing Municipal.
CCM has maintained long relations with CPC, Mr Polepole said in the statement noting also that CPC leaders have conducted the trip to learn and exchange experience with their CCM counterparts.
The CPC leaders will also pay a courtesy call on President John Magufuli, who is also CCM national chairman. They will also visit CCM deputy national chairman and Zanzibar President, Dr Ali Mohammed Shein.
