Magufuli, South Korean PM to grace signing of Selander bridge by-pass deal

Dar es Salaam. President John Magufuli and South Korean Prime Minister Mr Lee Nak-yeon on Monday July 23 are expected to witness the signing of a contract for the construction of the new Selander bridge bypass.

Tanzania National Roads Agency (Tanroads) and the contractor who won the tender will sign the contract.

When completed, the Selander by-pass will connect AgaKhan along Barack Obama drive and Coco Beach at the junctions of Kenyatta and Toure roads.

The South Korean PM, Mr Nak-yeon is in the country for a three day working visit.

Meanwhile, President Magufuli is expected to receive dividend for the year 2017/18 from 47 institutions in which the government own shares.

The event will be held at the Julius Nyerere International Conventional Centre (JNICC).
