Dar es Salaam. Mtama Member of Parliament Mr Nape Nnauye (CCM) on Saturday June 14 called on the government to come up with a budget, which will address concerns raised by the private sector.

He said the 2018/19 budget should have strategies which will stimulate the economy, and uplift people’s livelihood.

Mr Nnauye said, “There is a trend where the government is investing in major projects, which doesn’t directly reflect on people’s lives; so there is need for the government to come up with a budget which should consider people and projects.”

Finance and Planning minister Dr Philip Mpango is expected to table the 2018/19 budget this evening.

Mr Nnauye was speaking during an interview that was broadcast by one of the local TV stations earlier this morning.
