Dar es Salaam. About 100 youth from different parts of the country are expected to attend Tanzania International Model United Nations (TIMUN) conference, which will be held in Arusha from 22nd-26th May.
During the workshop the participants will discuss issues relating to maternal health and family planning.
Speaking to reporters on Friday national TIMUN Coordinator Tajiel Urioh said that the participants will discuss democracy and peace in developing countries as well as issues relating to renewable energy and education for sustainable development.
The theme of the conference is “Empowering Youth in Diplomacy and Leadership".
Mr Urioh “We are living in the world, where bold diplomacy and leadership skills is highly needed, hence grooming the youth is crucial for prosperity of nations.”
