Police holding four people over a drug courier’s body

Special Zone Police Commander Mr Simon Sirro told reporters in a news conference on Friday that the deceased, who is a Ghanaian national, died on March 14 in a guest house in Dar es Salaam.

Dar es Salaam. Police are holding four people for allegedly cutting open a corpse of a man who had swallowed some 32 pellets drugs.

Special Zone Police Commander Mr Simon Sirro told reporters in a news conference on Friday that the deceased, who is a Ghanaian national, died on March 14 in a guest house in Dar es Salaam.

Mr Sirro didn’t reveal the identity of the deceased and that of the suspects who were arrested on April 20.

The deceased body is still under preservation at Mananyamala Hospital in Dar es Salaam.
