President Magufuli recognises his former boss

Mwanza. President John Magufuli has recognised his former boss at Nyanza Cooperative Union, Mzee Masele, who attended a rally the Head of State addressed at Igogo in Mwanza Tuesday, October 31.

Dr Magufuli thanked his former manager for the contribution he made to his career. He was speaking just before officially opening Victoria Moulders factory.

The President said it was Mzee Masele who gave him the first contribution of Sh10,000 when he decided to vie for the Bihalamuro East constituency for the very first time.

“I remember he asked me in Kisukuma, ‘Will you be able to contest this seat without no money?’” President Magufuli recalled. “But I won the seat despite the fact that I did not have a lot of money!”
