Sh190 million to be spent on the war against corruption

This was revealed by ambassador and representative of Switzerland to the East Africa Community (EAC)  Mr Arthur Mattli in Dar es Salaam on Friday.

Dar es Salaam. Switzerland, through its embassy in the country has set aside Sh190 million, which will be used to conduct different cultural programs to sensitize the public on effect of corruption.

This was revealed by ambassador and representative of Switzerland to the East Africa Community (EAC)  Mr Arthur Mattli in Dar es Salaam on Friday.

He named the cultural organizations, which will be used to sensitize the public as the National Museum of Tanzania, Tanzania House of Talents (THT), Art in Tanzania, Gaba Africa Ltd and Kijiji studios Tanzania.

Mr Mattli said they have decided to use the artistes in order to reach wider audience.

“We have funded the cultural organizations because we are supporting Tanzania government’s fight against corruption,” Mr Mattli told reporters.
