Dodoma. Speaker of the National Assembly, Job Ndugai today, September 14, has announced his decision to forgive Arusha Member of Parliament,Godbless Lema, who had accused him of mistreating lawmakers by summoning them following their remarks related to the attack of Tundu Lissu last week.

Mr Lema posted a video clip in YouTube showing that the Ubungo MP,Saed Kubenea, who was ordered to appear before the Parliamentary Ethics Committee was previously taken to police for reasons related to love affairs that involved Special Seats MP, Juliana Shoza.

He said even the National Assembly was supposed to be postponed on the day Singida East MP Tundu Lissu was attacked.

Mr Lema also alleged that the Parliament refused to take party in Lissu's medication.

Mr Ndugai said all those were senseless allegations aired by a person who was not in Dodoma when Mr Lissu was shot.

"We were in the hospital with many other MPs following the condition of Mr Lissu after the shooting. MPs and the office of the Parliament cooperated with the family until Mr Lissu was airlifted to Nairobi. Unfortunately, Mr Lema did not participate in any of those events until he's heard from Nairobi," said Mr Ndugai.

"Mr Turk who is CCM lawmaker ordered a plane from Nairobi at his cost of $9,200 to help Mr Lissu and would be refunded later," he said.

"I forgive him for he does what he doesn't know. My call to Arusha residents is that Arusha deserves better," added Mr Ndugai.
