Dar es Salaam. Iringa University Student, Ibrahim Pius Mbwilo, 28, has said he will use some of the Sh239, 417,800, which he won after betting with M-Bet’s Perfect 12, to support orphanage centres.

Mbwilo made the revelation after being declared the winner of the 10th jackpot of M-Bet’s draw after placing his bet on September 6. He explained that he was orphaned in his childhood before being taken in by a guardian who regarded him as his child.

He said that the guardian dumped him when he was in Form Two and started to face difficulties in daily life before he started to sell garbage that was used as manure by various small farmers in Iringa Region. “I know the difficulties those street children (orphans) are facing. I experienced such a life...I have to support them as they are my brothers and sisters. I thank God for winning the M-Bet jackpot,” said Mbwilo.

M-Bet Tanzania Marketing manager Allen Mushi said that Mbwilo was their second winners to get more than Sh200 million. “Our top jackpot winner raked in Sh280 million... we are a house of champions,” said Mushi. He called on all Tanzanians to continue betting with their firm in order to win lucrative money and change their lives.
