Dar es Salaam. Young Africans striker Simon Msuva and Mohammed Hussein have what it takes to feature for La Liga clubs in Spain, says former Azam FC winger Farid Mussa.

The duo featured for the national soccer team, Taifa Stars, in an international friendly match against Botswana at the National Stadium on Saturday.

Farid, who plays for Deportivo Tennerife, a First Division side in Spain, challenged them to seek greener pastures abroad, saying they are as good as those plying their trades in Europe.

“They are good players as those who have seen them in action can attest. It is the right time for them to play professional football abroad,” he said.

“Tanzania is endowed with abundant soccer skills. There are many talented players out there,” he said.

“They only need to be be focused and disciplined to excel internationally and secure lucrative deals,” he said.
