       Dar es Salaam. New Kilimanjaro Boys head coach Ammy Ninje has unveiled 20 players, who will feature in the Senior East and Central Africa Challenge Cup scheduled for Kenya from December 3.

On the list, Ninje has included for the first time, Tanzanian player Daniel Lwanga, who plays for Oman’s club Fanja FC. Before joining Fanja, Lyanda featured for Coastal Union and later for FC Lupopo of the DRC, where he did not play much for various reasons.

He then joined Simba SC and did not show his prowess in the club and opted for the Oman club. Apart of Lyanga, Ninje also has included various new faces like former African Lyon player and Singida United defender, Kennedy Wilson.

Apart of the two players, Ninje has maintained all players who featured in the national soccer team, Taifa Stars. The Kilimanjaro Boys squad that, will feature in Kenya’s tournament, are Aishi Manula and Peter Manyika, who are goalkeepers, while defenders are Boniphace Maganga, Gardiel Michael, Kelvin Yondani, Erasto Nyoni, Mohammed Hussei and Kennedy Wilson.

Midfielders are Himid Mao, Hamisi Abdallah, Muzamil Yassin, Raphael Daudi, Jonas Mkude, Shiza Kichuya, Ibrahim Ajib and Abdul Hilal. Strikers are Elias Maguri, Mbaraka Yusuph, Yohana Nkomola and Daniel Lyanga.

Kilimanjaro Boys has been grouped in Group A together with Zanzibar, Rwanda, Libya and the host Kenya, while Group B teams are Uganda, Zimbabwe, Burundi, Ethiopia and South Sudan.
