Tanzanian broadcaster at DW, Isaack Gamba, dies in Germany

Dar es Salaam. A Tanzanian broadcaster working with Deutsche Welle (DW) of Germany Mr Isaac Gamba has died.

Preliminary reports says Mr Gamba was found dead in his house in Germany on Thursday, October 18, 2018. He had not been seen at work since Tuesday, it was reported.

A friend who spoke to The Citizen in a telephone interview from Bonn said Mr Gamba’s colleagues reported his absence to police who found him dead in his house.

“He didn’t arrive at work since Tuesday. We were forced to report the matter to the police who upon checking his house found him lying dead,” he said. The cause of the death is not known yet.

Before leaving for Germany, Mr Gamba worked with various media outlets including Radio Uhuru, ITV and Radio One.
