Tanzanian envoys to Egypt, Zambia urged to strengthen cooperation, advertise tourist attractions

Dar es Salaam. Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa has directed Tanzanian high commissioners to Egypt and Zambia Issa Nassoro and Abdulrahman Kaniki to strengthen cooperation between Tanzania and the two countries.
He met and held talks with the high commissioner on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at the Prime Minister's Office in Dodoma, a statement issued by Communications Unit in the Prime Minister's Office states.
He also asked the high commissioners to advertise Tanzania’s tourist attractions, including Mount Kilimanjaro, national parks, beaches and investment opportunities.
“I also encourage you to convince investors to come and invest in various sectors of the economy in the country. Tanzania is a peaceful country and the government will continue creating a good investment environment that will enable potential investors to invest in the country.”
The Premier further urged the high commissioners to meet and negotiate with Tanzanians living in Egypt and Zambia and advise them to come and invest in their home country.
For their part, the high commissioners assured the Prime Minister of their commitment to representing well Tanzania and vowed to implement the Prime Minister’s directives, including advertising tourist attractions and strengthening bilateral relations.
