Are Taifa Stars and Kilimanjaro Stars one and the same team?  I am asking this question because the two teams don the same strip.

I fail to understand the rationale behind this decision because these are supposed to be two different outfits.  While Taifa Stars is Tanzania’s national soccer team, Kilimanjaro Stars is Tanzania Mainland’s squad for regional tournaments.

It seems that the Tanzania Football Federation has decided to give the two teams the same strip as a cost-cutting measure.  As far as I am concerned, Taifa Stars are the righful owners of the strip being used by the two teams since they were the first to don the jerseys back in 2006. TFF should find alternative colours for Kilimanjaro Stars.
