Milan. With Milan Menswear Fashion Week set to kick off January 14, a host of designers due to appear at the event have revealed their inspirations for Fall/Winter 2012. Speaking to WWD January 12, creators from fashion houses including Diesel Black Gold and Nicole Farhi have discussed the ideas behind the yet-to-be-seen looks, which range from retro cuts to Asian dandies. Ermenegildo Zegna and Pringle of Scotland's collections appear to have more practical motivations, with the latter's designer Alistair Carr explaining the upcoming menswear line is "inspired by a real man’s wardrobe and the pieces he wants to wear.
