Los Angeles. It’s only a few years since he debuted on the hip hop scene, and rapper Drake has achieved phenomenal success as a recording artiste. Now, he has reportedly broken Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs record for the most number 1 rap singles on the Billboard charts. According to the Billboard, ‘With his 11th No. 1 on Billboard’s Rap Songs chart, Drake rewrites the mark for most leaders in the list’s 23-year history. Diddy accumulated ten hits on the chartsbetween 1996 (with the Lil’ Kim-featured ‘No time‘) and 2003 (with ‘Shake ya tail feather,’ featuring Nelly and Murphy Lee). Drake, born Aubrey Drake Graham, has two albums to his credit, and three mixtapes which have all been well received; generating some of his career’s biggest hits, including ‘Best I ever had‘, ‘Find your love‘, ‘Over‘, ‘Miss me‘. |
