The Bongo Star Search experience will change the lives of the contestants with effect from this season with the launch of the ‘BSS-Kili House’.

Speaking to the Weekender at different intervals the BSS’ Rita Paulsen and TBL’s George Kavishe said the new experience in the house would touch every aspect of contestants’ lives to make them meaningful citizens after the contest.

“While at the house they will meet different professionals who will guide them on different life changing experiences,” said the Kilimanjaro brand manager, Kavishe.

The house that takes shape of other reality shows like Big Brother Africa, will have an academy where the Top 20 contestants will live together for over eight weeks and learn different skills.

“Though at the end of the day it is important for one to win, but what we want is that this should be a life changing experience for these young people. They will be taught how to play different instruments and stage performance,” said Rita Paulsen.

The house which in its final phases of its decoration and furnishing is located in one of Dar es Salaam’s surbubs and will soon be revealed.

“We are doing everything with our co-sponsors to complete the little details in time before we can unveil this beautiful house to the public,” said Kavishe.

In the meantime, unconfirmed reports suggest that in line with what other reality TV shows do elsewhere, organizers are making frantic moves to get air time to show the events in the house daily.
The cast of the first audition show took place last Sunday with a repeat on Wednesday.
