The third spot in the Vodacom Premier League may change hands today when six teams swing into action at different venues across the country.League leaders Simba face Arusha’s Oljoro JKT in the highlight of today’s Premiership table at the National Stadium. Elsewhere, relegation-haunted Dodoma Police FC take on African Lyon at Chamazi Stadium, Mbagala.Police, who have been glued in the last but one position for the past three or so weeks, will be fighting for a win so as to revive their hopes to avoid relegation when the elite league comes to the home stretch in May. They are placed 13th in the 14-team league table with 12 points from 14 games, two points ahead of bottom-placed Sports Club Villa.But most fans will focus their attention at the National Stadium where JKT Oljoro will be seeking the three points at stake today in order to wrest the third berth from Azam FC, who are not in action today. Oljoro, gunning for their first Premier League title since their incision, are fourth in the league table with 26 points after 14 outings, three behind third-placed Azam.But they face an uphill task to achieve the mission as they need a win of at least four goals against the Msimbazi Reds in what promises to be an exciting showdown.A win for the army team will also be a sweet revenge against high-riding Simba who hit them 2-0 in the first round match in Arusha last year. Oljoro who beat Morogoro’s Mtibwa Sugar and Toto Africa of Mwanza 1-0 and 2-0 respectively in their last two games, have vowed to put Simba at bay in today’s game."No one did us any favours for us to be where we are now.
