Harambee Stars squad head coach Swaleh Muhiddin dropped all players plying their trade in Tanzania ahead of their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Guinea Bissau on Saturday.

The outspoken coach unveiled his 31-man squad comprising 21 local-based and 10 foreign-based stars.

Hillary Echessa, Jery Santo (Simba) and Ibrahim Shikanda of Azam were the most likely to maintain their places, but none of them impressed the coach.

Among the surprise inclusions was Reading academy graduate Curtis Osano.

Another newcomer was 18-year-old Gor Mahia striker Abdulmalik Mohammed who featured for the national under-20 team in the East and Central Africa Championship.
