Only seven out of 51 boxers named last week to form the national amateur team for the forthcoming Africa championship in Casablanca, Morocco have so far reported at camp. The championship set for April will serve as a qualifying event for the 2012 London Olympics.Boxing Federation of Tanzania (BFT) secretary general, Maakora Mashaga yesterday named Mohamed Chibumbuli, Anton Idoa and Oswarld Chaula as among pugilists that have reported at camp. Also in the list are Musin Kimwaga, Shaban Ally and Undule Langson, according to Mashaga.He urged those yet to report at camp to do so immediately, saying they should feel proud of making part of the national team.
