Morogoro. Mount Uluguru Rally Club has invited teams to participate in the inaugural Treasure Hunt race planned for February 5 here.The event’s organising committee chief Patrice Comtois said yesterday that the event would take five hours starting from 10am to 3pm.

Comtois said the teams interested to compete in the event will consist of three or five people, two of them must be registered members of the Mount Uluguru Rally Club.He said the race would see the participants battle into put in overcoming often physical and mental challenges along the way. According to him, one of the rules is that the teams must always stay together otherwise those found split up will be deducted 50 points.

Comtois said the answers to the puzzles would be written on the treasure hunt sheet provided by the club.
“All teams must be back at the finish point at Morogoro Gymkhana Club by 15.45.  Any team returning late will be deducted 10 points per minute.

“And if the team arrives 11 minutes late, it will suffer an automatic disqualification,” he said. The official warned that any team members proven consulting with other team’s members would result in both teams being disqualified. Cumtois called on interested teams to register at the Morogoro Gymkhana Club on February 4.
