By Majuto Omary The government has told Young Africans and Simba to state how much they prefer to pay to use the National Stadium to host their Mainland Premier League matches.
The government placed the ball on the team’s side on Friday, to discuss ways to make a three- party benefit from the national stadium’s gate collection.
Young Africans Secretary General, Lawrence Mwalusako said that the government wants the two clubs to meet with Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) and discuss the matter in the final meeting tomorrow.
Mwalusako said that they were happy with the government’s decision and hope their meeting with Simba officials before forwarding their proposal to TFF would lead to the best solution.
Earlier the clubs planned to use upcountry stadiums following the closure of the Uhuru Stadium for renovation.
