Arusha holds forum for business community

  • Arusha Regional Authorities have organised a forum for the region’s business community. The forum takes place today and will be attended by six ministers

Arusha. At least six ministers and several senior government officials are a business forum today, which has been organised by the Arusha Regional Office.

Those who have already arrived in Arusha include the Finance and Planning minister, Dr Phillip Mpango, Home Affairs minister Kangi Lugola andminister of State in the Office of the Vice-President (Environment) January Makamba.

Minister of State in the Office of the Prime Minister (Investment) Angella Kairuki, Works, Communications and Transport minister Gerson Lwenge and Industry and Trade minister Joseph Kakunda are also attending the forum.

The deputy ministers are Mr Abdallah Ulega (Livestock and Fisheries) and Mr Anthony Mavunde(Prime Minister’s Office: Policy, Employment, Youth and Labour).

The forum aims at listening to grievances facing businessmen and come up with a solution, which will help them do business in a more smooth way.

The forum attendees come from the sectors of tourism, minerals, agriculture, industry and small-scale business.
