Dodoma. Bishop of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania (ELCT) of the Diocese of Dodoma Amon Kinyunyu has called upon Christians to be resilient when it comes to addressing many challenges they face.

The Bishop advised them to have faith in God.

Delivering the Easter sermon on April 21 at the ELCT main church in Dodoma Bishop Kinyunyu said Christians face many challenges, but they only sure way that can help them remain strong is to have hope and faith in God.

“Every Christian should ask himself or herself what should be done to address challenges he or she faces. Who will assist him or her in addressing such challenges? The answer is simple—it is Jesus Christ who can lead the way,” he said.

Bishop Kinyunyu told Christians continue believing that the resurrection of Jesus Christ was a sign of victory, noting that when human beings die, they will be later be resurrected.

“His resurrection is intended to make us believe that we will also rise again. We shouldn’t fear death because we will one day be restored to an everlasting life,” he said.
