Elders to JK: Drop Maasai land plan or lose our vote

Some 2,500 square kilometres will reportedly go to residents and the other 1,500 square kilometres is to be conserved. Local elders and activists claim this piece is intended for hunting. But Prime Minister Mizengo Pinda is reported to have brought the ministry’s plan to a halt after a meeting with Maasai leaders.
