Majaliwa winds up 13th Parliamentary meeting

The 13th parliamentary meeting has been concluded. Lawmakers will meet on Tuesday January 29, 2019 for the 14th sitting.
Dar es Salaam. Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa on 16 November, 2018 wound up the 13th Parliamentary meeting by highlighting sectors that need special attention by public servants.
He named the sectors as transport, water and education.
The event was broadcast live from Dodoma.
He spoke about the need to curb accidents.
“We have continued to lose lives of many people. Recently, MV Nyerere capsized and road accidents are still many,” he said.
He said it was vital to improve water supplies.
“We urge all Tanzanians to help protect water sources.”
He directed the Ministry of Education and other stakeholders to set up mechanisms that would prevent exam cheating.
