Muhimbili University gets new Vice Chancellor

Dar es Salaam. The President John Magufuli has appointed Prof Andrew Pembe as the new Vice Chancellor of Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (Muhas).
A State House statement issued on Friday, June 1, 2018 by Chief Secretary Ambassador John Kijazi and signed and released to media outlets by Director of Presidential communications Mr Gerson Msigwa disclosed.
According to the statement, Prof Pembe’s appointment starts with effect from today, June 1.
Prior to his appointment, he was serving as lecturer and Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academic, Research and Consultancy.
