President makes two new appointments

Dar es Salaam. President John Magufuli has appointed Judge Stephen Mrimi Magoiga to be the chairman of the Fair Competition Tribunal (FCT).
He is replacing Judge Barke Mbaraka Sehel, who has been appointed, to serve at the court of appeal.
The President also appointed Dr Wilfred Ng’umbi as Executive secretary at the Institute of Adult Education in Tanzania.
Prior to the appointment Dr Ng’umbi was a counsellor at the Open University of Tanzania (OUT).
Dr Ng’umbi is replacing Dr Fidelice Mafumiko, who has been appointed be the new nation’s chief chemist.
According to a statement released by the Chief Secretary, Ambassador John Kijazi the appointment took effect from February 19.
