Shaaban Idd Chilunda

Twenty-year-old Tanzania striker Shaaban Idd Chilunda joined Spanish Segunda team Tenerife in August 2018. He moved from Tanzania’s Azam FC on a two-year loan contract. Chilunda appeared in three matches for Tenerife before they sent him on an addition short-term loan to Segunda Division B team Izarra.

The good news is Chilunda is still in Spain learning his trade from top coaches and professionals. He has appeared in seven matches since moving to Izarra in January. Chilunda is expected to return to Tenerife in July where he will have a chance to play with the first team once more.

Despite being down near the bottom of the Segunda table, Tenerife should be in the second division next term and Chilunda could play a part in a possible Tenerife promotion campaign.
