Dar es Salaam. Mainland soccer giants Simba were busy yesterday, perfecting their tactics ahead of tomorrow’s Champions League clash against Zambia’s Nkana FC.

Simba head coach Patrick Aussems predicted a tough match but remained optimistic that it would produce positive results for his team.

“We are playing against a strong opponent, but we are ready for the challenge,” Aussems said.

“We are a good team especially in front of our supporters. We can’t afford another defeat on Sunday,” he added.

Nkana have been in the country since Wednesday for the clash to be held at the National Stadium.

Former Young Africans defender Hassan Kessy, who now plays for Nkana FC, also expressed optimism that they will win the match.

“We take the Champions League very seriously. I anticipate a hard time, but we will do everything possible to win,” he said.
