As part of Vodacom Tanzania's women's month celebrations.Vodacom Tanzania is celebrating 20 of the most influential women in the country highlighting how technology and innovation has made them stand out in bringing balance to the community. 

The women in the video and their achievements:

Flaviana Matata: Flaviana is an International Model, Business woman and Philanthropist dealing with the girl child.

Sophia Mwasikili: As arguably a neglected group, Tanzania’s Female Football team Twiga Stars is led by captain Sophia Mwasikili.

Hellen Dausen: Hellen is Known for her Award Winning Skin Care Brand and Handcrafting the Best Natural and authentic Skincare products in Zanzibar. 

Salama Jabir: Salama is a Presenter for various TV shows including her co-produced Mkasi. She is also famous for her honest no-nonsense opinions as a judge for talent show Bongo Star Search.

Susan Mashibe:Susan Mashibe is founder and executive director of an aviation service provider, an international fixed-base aircraft services operation and the first company of its kind. Susan is also one of the very few female aircraft engineers in the country.

Dr Kisyombe:Victoria Kisyombe is a leader who has used innovation, initiative, and determination to empower women in Tanzania. Dr. Kisyombe is the founder of a company that provides micro-leasing to widows and young girls.

Doreen Noni: Aka Eskado Bird is a Fashion Designer and all round entrepreneur who also is the founder of a radio station in Mwanza among other business ventures.

Jennifer Bash: Bash is an Entrepreneur of a unique type which includes food packaging and all things food with her Alaska brand.

Ritha Tarimo: is an Author and Motivational Speaker with books that aim to inspire

Carol Ndosi: is an Entrepreneur with business on and offline. Carol is also an activist and Communications expert.

Fatma Karume; Fatma is a lawyer, vocal activist and president of the Tanganyika Law Society (TLS). She is also the daughter of Zanzibar’s former president Karume.

Miranda Naiman:  Runs a consulting firm that focuses primarily on enhancing people's capabilities by capacity-building through customized training and development programs. She finds talent!

Nancy Sumari: Sumari is a Former Miss Tanzania and author for Childrens Books, business woman and social entrepreneur. 

Doris Mollel: Doris is the founder and director of her Foundation which engages in helping children who were born before their time (Premature).

Rebeca Gyumi:  Rebeca is a Media Personality and humanitarian, one of the only ladies on the list who works on activities closely related to what she was groomed to be. She is founder of an Initiative helping younger girls in challenging situations through education.

Samia Suluhu: The woman needs no introduction, as the Vice President of Tanzania she is one of the first in the region as a whole.

Vanessa Mdee: Vanessa Mdee is a Performing Artist and Youth Activist for all things girls… Her work has allowed for her to be privy to International Conferences and awards with accolades to prove it.

Jokate Mwegelo: is a Model, Actress, Musician and Politician she is a jack of all trades who was picked by the President in 2018 to be DC of Kisarawe.

Faraja Nyalandu: is a Former Miss Tanzania, then known as Faraja Kotta, and Social Entrepreneur in the Tech - Ed field helping students with innovative digital educational learning content.

Zakia Mrisho: Zakia Mrisho is a Tanzanian long distance Olympic runner who specialises in track and road running. Better known for her defiance when events are for male counterparts she would not shy off from competition no matter the gender.

Vodafone Globally joined hands with Marvel studios #CaptainMarvel movie to celebrate these female heroes by awarding 20 free movie tickets at the movie premiere at Mlimani city.#CaptainMarvel movie is still showing in all Century Cinemax Theatres in Dar es Salaam.
