World Bank plans to dish Sh1.35 trillion for education funding in Tanzania

Dar es Salaam. The World Bank plans to disburse Sh1.357 trillion in support of Tanzania’s educations sector.

This was revealed by the World Bank country director for Tanzania, Malawi, Burundi and Somalia, Ms Bella Bird after her meeting with President John Magufuli at the State House on Tuesday, 09 October.

Ms Bella said the World Bank support to Tanzania currently stands at Sh10.186 trillion.

“I have held talks with President Magufuli to chat about the progress of various projects that we are funding…implementation of most of the projects are progressing well,” said Ms Bella.
