Zitto: ACT Wazalendo still believes in Warioba’s Constitution draft

Pemba. ACT Wazalendo leader Zitto Kabwe said the draft Constitution prepared by the Constitution Review Commission (CRC) chaired by Joseph Warioba would have gone a long way into providing the basis for solving Tanzania’s problems had it been adopted by the Constituent Assembly and then promulgated.
He made the statement on Saturday, March 23, 2019, when addressing new ACT Wazalendo members at Mkoani District in South Pemba Region immediately after they joined the ACT Wazalendo party.
“Pemba has numerous problems, but the major one is high living costs. That is the reason we continue to support the Warioba draft constitution as we did during the 2015 General Election because we believe the document provides solutions to inequality among citizens from all sides of the union,” he said.
