Dar es Salaam. Mwananchi Communications Ltd, Managing Director, Francis Nanai has thanked the government for its immense cooperation it has shown at all the four Mwananchi Thought Leadership Forums organized by the company.
Mr Nanai said this on Thursday 23, when opening the fourth forum themed ‘Our agriculture, our lifeline’.
He said, the first MTLF forum was on non-communicable disease (NCDs), followed by one on industrialization then charcoal and all through the forums, government’s support has been phenomenal.
"This shows that they care and have the country's interest at heart," he said.
He also thanked, the Minister for Agriculture, Japhet Hasina for taking his time to attend the event on agriculture.
According to him, agriculture is the backbone of the country which is faced by many challenges as well as benefits.
He said agriculture cuts across all sectors including politics, social, technology, economy among others and therefore should be given top priority.
