Samsung in Partnership with Tigo launch the Galaxy A Series

Dar es Salaam. Tigo in partnership with Samsung have said that they are in a strategic collaboration to increase the number of internet users in the country as the telecom continues to promote a digital lifestyle in the Tanzanian community.

The duo has rolled out new Galaxy A series smartphone models that offers innovative technology at a very competitive price alongside Tigo’s internet offers.

Speaking during the launch on Friday May 24, in Dar es Salaam, Tigo’s Mobile Device Manager, Mkumbo Myonga, said that Tigo and Samsung were partnering to unveil the new product which have more affordable 4G internet package.

He disclosed that among many, the new series models that the two companies were launching are the Galaxy A2 core, A10 and the A2O.

“Indeed customers who purchase the phones will be able to enjoy Tigo’s fastest and reliable internet. Customers who purchase the A2 core and the A10 will be offered free 66 GB and 96 GB respectively for the whole year, while those who buy the A20 will enjoy free 18 GB for the period of six months,” he said.

The country manager for Samsung Tanzania, Suleiman Mohamed, said that the company is expected to give its customers a totally new and innovative smartphone user experience through the new product series.
