Dar es Salaam. Turkish ambassador to Tanzania Mr Ali Davutoglu on Saturday paid a courtesy call to one of the local orphanages called Ashura in Dar es Salaam’s Vingunguti suburb.

It was a moment to savor for both the children and the staff as they played and ran around with the ambassador in their humble surroundings.

One of the most popular games on the day was a tug of war as two sides supported by the staff and the visitors tried to outdo the other.

Apart from the games and the meals the visitors also came along with some goodies to support the children who depend on donations for their livelihood. The orphanage is funded by the embassy of Turkey in Tanzania
