Dar es Salaam. Police Tanzania’s preparations for the 2017/18 National First Division League received a timely boost yesterday when SportPesa, a giant betting firm, donated Sh20 million to the law enforcers.

SportPesa Tanzania director of administration and compliance, Tarimba Abbas said yesterday that they feel proud to be associated with football promotion in the country.
Tarimba said they would like to see Police earn promotion to the Mainland Premier League at the end of the National First Division League.
Speaking at the same occasion, Inspector General of Police (IGP), Simon Sirro thanked the SportPesa management for the support and expressed optimism that the team would feature in the top flight next season
