Govt invites applications for 184 posts at TPA, EASTC. Apply here

Dar es Salaam. The Public Service Recruitment Secretariat has announced 184 new job vacancies on behalf of the Tanzania Ports Authority (TPA) and the Eastern Africa Statistical Training Centre (EASTC), as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen public service delivery and institutional efficiency.
The recruitment notice, issued on Friday, June 27, 2025, invites applications from qualified and committed Tanzanian citizens.
TPA is offering 176 positions across multiple disciplines, including fire and rescue officers, inspection equipment specialists, ship captains, assistant captains, navigation instructors, and other key operational roles.
Meanwhile, the EASTC is recruiting for eight positions, with a focus on academic appointments for suitably qualified trainers.
General requirements
Applicants must be Tanzanian nationals aged not more than 45 years. Persons with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.
Applications must include a current curriculum vitae with valid contact details, certified copies of academic transcripts (Form Four, Form Six, diploma or degree), professional registration certificates (where applicable), and a birth certificate.
A recent passport-size photograph should also be attached. Public servants and retirees are not eligible to apply.
All applicants must provide the names and verified contact information of three referees.
Certificates from foreign secondary schools must be validated by the National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA), while academic qualifications obtained from foreign higher learning institutions must be recognised by either the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) or the National Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NACTVET).
