JPM sacks two DEDs in Bukoba

Dar es Salaam. President John Magufuli on Monday, November 6, revoked the appointment of Bukoba municipal executive director Erasto Mfugale and Bukoba rural district council executive director Mwantum Dau.

According to a statement released by director of presidential communications Gerson Msigwa, the duos will be assigned to other duties.

“Following that, the vacant posts will be filled later,” reads part of the statement signed by Mr Msigwa.

Earlier, when addressing Bukoba resident, President Magufuli asked the two immediate DEDs about the amount of money set aside for road funds in their areas, but they failed to respond.
